As preparations gear up for the workshop and stress levels increase (funding this baby is hard), I cant wait to see how many people would have comfirmed by wednesday.
Zimbabwean Media is in need of healing. We have to upgrade our skills to the highest possible levels and stop patting ourselves on the back when something isnt really that hot! I hang with harsh critics all the time. Carl Joshua Ncube, Claire Dongo, Rufaro Dhliwayo, Aura Kawanzaruwa, Solomon Maramba etc... these are honest people who are not afraid to say when something is bad. I believe we have arrived at an era when that kind of mentality shouldnt be limited to just the elite artists... but to everyone!
Hopefully this workshop will be the first step in correcting the issue. Hopefully the future ones will train the next generation of Afrikcan digital artists!
